I, Jesus, have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning star. Revelation 22:16
Sunrise is such a time of beauty, of peace, of quiet, and of glory. The light of day breaks over the earth and with that moment, the darkness is dispelled. Jesus is that “Bright Morning Star.” The fullness of the glory of God is upon the earth and reflected in Jesus.
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. John 9:5
BRIGHT
λαμπρός
lampros

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!” Matthew 17:5
“But it happened that as I was on my way, approaching Damascus about noontime, a very bright light suddenly flashed from heaven all around me, and I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’ “And I answered, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said to me, ‘I am Jesus the Nazarene, whom you are persecuting.’ “And those who were with me saw the light, to be sure, but did not understand the voice of the One who was speaking to me. Acts 22:6-9
MORNING
ὀρθρινός
orthrinos

So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. 2 Peter 1:19
But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Revelation 2:25-29
STAR
ἀστήρ
astēr
a star (as strown over the sky), literally or figuratively:—star
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him. Matthew 2:1-2
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. Matthew 2:10
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 1 Corinthians 15:41
Father God, thank You for Your Son, the Bright and Morning Star. He radiates throughout my soul, dawning each day with hope, His eternal hope. He spreads His morning beams into my heart. I am filled with love and light. I so desire to be a reflection to the world in which I live. Jesus is the Light in a dark world. He is the breaking of the dawn, bringing His Light to take away that darkness. He is the Star that radiates upon the earth in full array. Oh, Father, such a gift You bring. My heart bubbles over with all that You lay out for me. I have manna each day when my eyes are open to see, when my ears are open too to hear. I pray they are each day. I feel so very blessed and loved. I also am ashamed that I struggle with sadness when I do not wake with the hope that is mine to grasp, when I am not a reflection of Jesus to this world. I am sorry. This world needs the Light of Jesus so badly and I want to be one of His lights so deeply. I pray in the Name of the Bright and Morning Star. Amen.
He rises with the dawning of the day…
