dear Linda
I came across “The weaver” poem in a book that my aunt gave me, written by Mahtob Mamoody the daughter of Betty Mamoody, who wrote her harrowing story of escape from being imprisoned by her husband in Iran.
I understand, that God is the creator und sustainer of life. This poem if faith from centuries ago linking our making to that of a weaver touched me deeply, not only because I am weaver myself, but because it makes one look a bit deeper than the surface type of comment we are so accustomed to in this fast paced world. Thank you for your thoughts.

Thank you, Chris. Mary’s pondering and treasuring so much…for such a young woman, a mother to such a child as Jesus, and so much more that surely only the Holy Spirit could’ve conveyed to her…and all going so deeply into her heart has always been one of the most profound parts of the Bible. So glad you came by. ~ linda
I have loved this poem ever since I first heard it! ! I share this poem every time I get a chance when I share my story. It says what God has and is doing in my life!
I found your blog while looking for a threshing floor, of all things. I hope all is well with your soul and that the Lord our God is keeping you safe in his arms. Thank you for this blog and for sharing your heart with the world.
Oh Cheryl…what a blessing to read this tonight. I love it that you were looking for a threshing floor and ended up at Being Woven. Yes, I did a post on that once a while back. Thank you for taking the time to share with me that you read some of my information, enough to know that I am grieving and could use a hug across the internet. Actually, I am doing quite well as God is walking with me through this new season of my life. He upholds me each day and holds me tight when I am sad. I have been making some new friends and loving them as they are loving me back. Praising God for you tonight, Cheryl. Caring through Christ, ~ linda
Thanks, Kristen. I am doing ok. God is close and I am staying close to Him. He continues to go before me in all the many things I must do and also the people He places along my paths, as well as comforting me.
“For your husband is your Maker,
Whose name is the LORD of hosts;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel,
Who is called the God of all the earth. Isaiah 54:5
I keep this Scripture on the dining table and read it at least every morning. God is so amazing.
I love you back, sweet Kristen. ~ lindamom
